Volunteering at Benjamin Franklin Academy

Parent/Guardian and community volunteers are an indispensable part of Benjamin Franklin Academy.

Volunteers Wanted!

• As professionals with special knowledge, interests and talents, we need you to share these with students during Open Roads or Toolbox, and at other times of the day.

• As a school with an innovative schedule, we need your presence for special activities such as Open Roads, when we go on trips, or Showtime, where our productions will need all hands on deck, or Country Store, where we will sell what we grow and make.

• We will need parents to cover classes for absent teachers. 

• We will need parents to supply some basics such as copy paper and other office materials to help us fill our needs on a limited budget.

• We will need parents to serve on our board of trustees and PTA which will plan special activities and raise funds for the school.

• Our school will be a community for families – both students and their parents – and for our neighbors and friends.
