  • BFA is located on an 8-acres campus at 157 Chichester Road in Loudon, NH. The campus will offer the students two main buildings of classrooms, including a math computer space and a large workshop, as well as outdoor space for building, exploring and playing.

  • BFA will eventually be open to all New Hampshire students in grades 6-12. In our first year we are accepting students in grades 6-8. In subsequent years we will be adding a grade until we reach grade 12 in our fifth year.

  • Clubs are student-created and student-led, and must be approved by Student Council and school administration. Students may participate in sports teams that are run by their sending high school. Students are responsible for getting their own transportation to after-school practices and games, and for arranging early departure from Benjamin Franklin Academy (if necessary) with school administration.

  • BFA’s curriculum and schedule plan elements were specifically designed with the active learner in mind. Students will cultivate knowledge in Toolbox and other projects.

Our rigorous program also involves theoretical learning and requires persistence, hard work, and motivation!

  • In New Hampshire Charter Schools are Public Schools that offer families a different option from traditional private or public school options. Charter Schools are funded by the state at a lower rate than a regular public school and are offered to eligible students tuition free. Charter Schools are allowed the freedom to create a mission and establish curriculum as they see fit in order to achieve student success. However, it should be known that Charter Schools are still subject to the governance of the Department of Education.
