Ms. Lauren Fohlin

Director of Theatre

Allied Arts

Lauren is thrilled to be the Director of Theatre here at Benjamin Franklin Academy! She is a performing and visual artist who has been singing since she could speak and on stage since the age of 11. She found her love for performing through The Palace Theatre’s Youth program (PYT) and performed there for over eight years.

After being accepted to several colleges for Musical Theatre she took a gap year, started teaching arts education, and now is finishing up her degree at Berklee College of Music.

Lauren has been the Performing Arts Director for several after school programs and has taught 3,000 students across the state of NH. Through teaching, performing, and volunteering, Lauren hopes to allocate funds, encourage young artists, and to keep arts education alive and well! She is one of the founders of The Dustin Blake Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation and has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to high school seniors who remained involved in the arts throughout their high school career.

She is a three time local title holder for the Miss America Organization making top ten at Miss NH 2021.

Lauren hopes that through her love, dedication, and passion for theatre she can help her students find their role on and off the stage!
